4 months old!

Today Calvin went in for his 4 month checkup! He weighed 15 pounds and was 27 inches long. He is in the 51st percentile for weight and 98th percentile for height. The doctor called him tall and skinny! So I have to stop calling him a little fatty, although he still has his extremely chubby cheeks, and his little double chin. The doctor was impressed with how well he could lift his head and almost sit up on his own when you give him your fingers. He said he has a very strong neck and back. He also finally started eating rice cereal today, here is a video of him in action.

Calvin's new book!

Calvin got his new book from Gramps today! I was so excited and started to read it to him. When I was done I put him on the floor so he could look at his new book, but Calvin took it to the next step...he started to read it again! He must really love this one Gramps! Thank you!

Big Boy

Nick propped Calvin in the corner of the couch! He stood like this forever. He loved it, because he felt like such a big boy! Nick was taking pictures on his phone and I had the camera, so he had some trouble deciding where to look!! So cute!!

This Ones for Gramps

College Football Saturday!

Susan let me sleep in this morning and when I finally got up she went back to bed. So that left Calvin and myself to watch our favorite thing on tv FOOTBALL! (well it was college football but that counts too). We were watching Maryland beat California but Calvin only has an NC State outfit. So here he is very focused on the game.
