This whistle was given to me when I was a little boy by a friend of my grandparents, Mr. Ruckman, who actually made it himself. It was one of my favorite toys when I was growing up (probably the only one I still have). Recently we have been using it to put Calvin to sleep. Now he has fallen in love with it and always wants to play with it. He just started to actually play it today.
That is so neat! I still own my FAV. book from when I was a baby and now I am reading it to her- It is sooo cool to pass things down like that.
