Cleaning WEEK!
I have been trying to clean the house all week and I feel like I have gotten no where. Before this week I have just been to lazy to clean, but Nick took off last Thursday and cleaned the house while I was at school. It was nice to come home to a clean kitchen and living room, but I felt awful that he had to be the one to clean. I am very old fashion and I believe that men go to work and women clean and cook for their husbands. When I don't have the house clean at the end of the night when Nick comes home from work, I feel like I didn't do my part. This week I just got tired of not doing my part and feeling bad everytime he came home, so I have been making myself clean. I have found that once I get started, it's a lot easier to keep cleaning. So, eventhough I have been cleaning all this week and it still feels messy, I feel better when Nick comes home. When it is time to go to bed, I feel like I did a good days work and that I deserve a good sleep. I hope that I can keep up with my cleaning and actually get the house so completey clean. I better get started now!

Surprise!
The food!
Ryley ready for the party!
Chris and Laura and Nick with his birthday Coke!
All of Nick's friends from work came too!
Nick opening his presents with help from Ryely!
So I threw a suprise birthday party for Nick a couple of weeks ago and I was very scared that everything would turn out to be a mess...I got Nick up early that morning to get him out of the house. Anna had stayed the night so that she could set up the decorations and food while I took Nick out for a birthday lunch. We went to Chuckarama and then I had to stall by taking him to Best Buy. We still were going to be about an hour before the party was supposed to start and Nick was getting tired. He wanted to go home and relax, but I had to beg him to take me to more stores. He was so mad, and I felt awful. But as soon as he opened the door, all the anger was gone. He said that he was so surprised that he almost had a heart attack! So the party was a hit and Nick got everything he wanted! I want to thank my Mom and Anna, because without them there would have been NO party! Thanks!

Sleep Over!
These are really old, but I figured that since I just got the hang of this blog thing that I might as well...
This is after a long day of fireworks and eating a lot of cream chip beef (YUMMY!) we were all finally ready for bed. Ryley was especially ready and she told Nick and I that she wanted to sleep at our house. I actually think that we talked her into it, but that night she ended up at our house in her pajama's and blankets ready to have a sleep over.
The excitement didn't last for long and she started crying for her mom, but we had fun while it lasted. Maybe next time she'll decide to stay!

New Apartment
Ok, so I am really bad at this. I actually did post the pictures of the new aprtment, but apparently I had no idea what I was doing. So, instead of putting the new post on our blog I accidentally created a new one and put it on there! OOPS! I have now figured it out, I hope, and here are the long awaited pictures! We are so sorry that it took SO long! When we first moved in the place looked pretty boring, just white walls with some furniture. Then my mom came and helped me decortae and now it looks like a real home! Thanks Mom! The first picture was taken before the new decorating, so please excuse the mess!

The Albright's
Nick and I met last year at BYU-Idaho. I met him at church and invited him over for dinner on Sunday and we have been together ever since. We were married in the Raleigh, North Carolina Temple on December 29, 2006. We just recently came back to Idaho to finish school. Nick is studying Construction Management hoping to work with Dad someday and I plan to major in Psychology. Right now it's just me and Nick and we are enjoying being together in our own apartment.
